Charity Support

Doing the job we do, naturally we are frequently contacted by charities for support.  Our chosen charity for 2009/10 is Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice in Conwy - one of the two Hope House Children's Hospices. Please visit their website to find out more about the work they do.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer financial support for more than one charity at a time.  However, subject to our workload, we may be able to support your Registered Charity event by offering a discounted firework display, which in turn helps to attract more people to your event, and keep them there longer to spend money!.

5th December 2009: Llangollen Christmas Lights

Recently we supported the Llangollen Christmas Lights Switch-on 2009.  The event was organised by the Llangollen Chamber of Trade and Tourism, raising funds for Hope House Children's Hospices.  We also provided a small lighting rig and PA system on the town hall steps for the ceremony, as well as decorating Santa's Grotto, which was packed all day long with eager children telling Santa how good they've been all year!

20th November 2009: Snowflake Ball at Ruthin Castle

As well as providing the fireworks display, Uproar also donated an icy entranceway to the Ball with sparkly glitter balls casting 'snowflakes' across the front of the Castle... unfortunately not an easy thing to photograph!
