For Bonfire Night, Guy Fawkes Night, November 5th, or whatever
you prefer to call it!, we think you are much better off visiting an
organised display than doing your own thing in the back garden. You
get to see many more, bigger, brighter fireworks - and don't have to
do any of the work! - See our Display Calendar. However, we
also recognise that some families still like to do their own thing,
and of course fireworks are great for Birthday Parties,
Anniversaries, Summer BBQs, New Year's Eve etc. Therefore we
offer the following advice and observations: Remember,
Remember...ALWAYS follow the Fireworks Code (see
here) ALWAYS consider your own and your neighbours
pets and animals, including farm animals (see
here) ALWAYS follow the instructions on each
firework - they often have different safety requirements. Remember
CAT 3 fireworks require a safety distance of 25 metres all round -
that's quite a big garden! ALWAYS buy your fireworks
from a properly licensed company like Uproar. Unlike faceless
supermarkets, we are always happy to take the time to help you
choose fireworks to suit the size of your garden, to select quieter
fireworks for younger children to enjoy, and to advise on the firing
order to ensure you get the best display out of your available
budget. Unlike corner shops and supermarkets, at Uproar we test fire
every firework we offer for sale, and each year reject many we
consider to be bad value, or just plain boring! We are therefore
able to give our customers unparalleled advice and the 'cherry pick'
of the best available fireworks across a number of different brands. DON'T
think you have to have a huge budget to come to Uproar Fireworks! -
although we design and fire big displays costing many thousands of
pounds, we also sell small garden selection boxes for under £10,
and all our customers are equally valuable to us. NEVER
forget you are handling explosives - don't ever get complacent, even
the smallest firework will badly burn you or your children if you
get it wrong.
